ABOUT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
League of Legends is a free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by Riot Games and released in 2009. Two teams of five players compete to destroy each other's Nexus, the core building in their base, while defending their own. Each match is played on a map called Summoner’s Rift and involves strategy, teamwork, and fast-paced combat.
Players control unique characters known as Champions, each with their own abilities, roles, and playstyles. Throughout the match, players gain gold and experience to upgrade their champion and buy items, helping their team push lanes, secure objectives, and win fights. The wide variety of champions and strategies keeps gameplay fresh and highly competitive.
